The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) declared the results for its Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) entrance exam today on 18th June 2018. A total of 7,617 candidates, including 2,705 females, have qualified the AIIMS-MBBS 2018 entrance examination. Out of which 2649 candidates have been qualified for the first round of centralized counselling. Out of a total of 4,52,931 eligible candidates, 3,74,520 candidates appeared in the examination. The entrance examination was conducted on May 26 and May 27.
All 3 toppers of this year are girls, Eliza Bansal, Ramneek Kaur Mahal and Mehak Arora each with 100 percentile. The cut-off percentile was 98.83 percent for the general category, 97.01 percent for OBC (NCL) and 93.65 percent for SC/ST category. AIIMS entrance test has been condusted for MBBS courses at AIIMS New Delhi and eight other AIIMS in Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (AP) and Nagpur (Maharashtra).
Eliza Bansal, topper in the AIIMS MBBS entrance examination topper is from Lehragaga, a town in Punjab’s Sangrur district. She is a student of Dr Devraj DAV Public School in Lehragaga and has scored 100 per cent in the entrance test. She scored 100 per cent in biology, 99.94 in chemistry, 100 in physics and 97.87 in general knowledge.
Candidates who qualify the AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance by scoring minimum qualifying percentage will be able to participate in the first round of AIIMS MBBS online counselling.
